What our guests think...

Holidaying with kids....

Travelling with a young child is exhausting at the best of times, the little conveniences that you offer make life so much easier. To start with, you can pull up right outside the door for easy unloading, kids toys, books, a thousand changes of clothes, you know what it's like!

The buggy sized porch, genius, no need to fold down after a lovely day at the beach, then back up again in the morning, there's even a slope nearby to the beach, no awkward steps. The travel cot, saved me room in the car, the children's books on the shelf, every child prefers someone else's books to their own AND the beach toys, saved me forking out on buckets and spades.

I could write an essay on how beautiful Broadstairs is, and how family friendly the restaurants and cafes are, but suffice to say we're all very much looking forward to staying with you again next year. Thank you.

Mr T.S.

Mr R.H.

Mr B.W.

'Had an excellent week in your lovely flat, many thanks’

I did enjoy visiting the many hostelries nearby, sampling the local Gadds & Spitfire beer, even found some delicious Harveys...

Discover the beauty of Broadstairs

Stay in Broadstairs for its beautiful golden sandy beaches, family-friendly atmosphere, rich literary heritage connected to Charles Dickens, charming seaside town vibe, and annual festivals and events. The town offers a quintessential English seaside experience with amenities like cafes, restaurants, and unique attractions such as the Dickens House Museum and Bleak House.

Broadstairs town centre is just eight minutes walk away from the flat and is terribly English, full of charm and character, with a wealth of bars, restaurants and great pubs available, you'll also find many interesting shops such as Arrowsmiths or Kit, amongst the delightful squares, and quaint narrow streets nearby.

For the more energetic holidaymakers there is opportunity to Paddle board, surf, hire a bike and play a game of Golf, with both North Foreland and Royal St Georges courses nearby. Across the year, Broadstairs hosts many music events, with themes such as Jazz, Folk, or Blues plus of course the big food festivals in the Spring and Autumn celebrating local produce. All contribute to a really lively atmosphere in town.

However if you just want to relax, then Sea view is perfect, chill out on the balcony with a glass of wine watching the dinghy's race by or take advantage of the in house binoculars and view the container ships that regularly cross the English channel. In the evening you may enjoy the spectacular Firework display often held over Viking Bay in the Summer months, or just watch the port lights twinkle away in the distance.
